Out of Control / 2009Mixed media installations, dimensions variable Out of Control I (Him, Her)
One of the most moving accounts of male performed type of control is persuading woman by means of a ‚logical argument‘. Or else, attempts to predict and construct possible models of female behaviour. In turn, female undertakings to fight male pragmatism and rationalization have alredy gained a‚classic‘ standing within this genre. Once members of both sexes will understand and accept that differences they painstakingly war against, are, in fact, the preconditions for the necessary balancing, the control will be brought right back.
Out of Control II (Fatal Attempt)
Being a member of a civilized, even more so a cultured society, a person is regularly being confronted in relation to himself. It turns out to be a balance between tolerance and honesty, an ongoing exercise in scrutiny of personal thought and emotion, that we call ‚socialization‘. Display of our actual thought and emotion would be a totally ‚fatal step‘, resulting in a social suicide. However, maximalism exists in the world to the present day, why not to commit this social suicide consciously and with a certain amount of pleasure? In fact, there are numerous ways how to become an ‚outcast‘ very fast. Every journey starts with a first step. Start with a little. Stop following fashion. Start citing God’s Word. Tell just plain truth and simple verity. The results will not make you wait long!
Out of Control III (Time out)
The pragmatic arrival of this seemingly bright everyday life and its instantenous transformation into a past, sooner or later makes us reconsider our relationship to the very present day. It makes us prescribe to it a whole new different meaning. And the sooner, the better.
